This web site was started days before the 2024 election (admittedly too late) when the author was compelled to speak out about issues facing Catholic voters. In view of what transpired then and afterwards, the author offers the information in this website to assist Christian Americans.
The author is a practicing Catholic and layperson who was baptized in the Catholic Church as a child, attended a small Congregationalist Church in rural Maine while growing up on a small farm, did not attend church throughout college, attended a Methodist Church for about five years after college, and returned to the Catholic faith during graduate studies at a top institution in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It was Father William Walsh of St. Peter Parish that drew him back. Though still a farmer at heart, he holds a doctoral degree in engineering, runs, sings in the choir, is a husband and father of a seven-year-old daughter who was adopted at birth. As a layperson, he is very concerned about the trajectory of Christianity in today's America.
